Here are a few pictures from my second marathon experience.

It's always pretty crowded at the start. Several thousand people run this race. It took me five minutes just to get to the start line after the race began.

I saw my parents at mile 9, and they took this picture.

My parents were waiting again at mile 18, and my mother decided to jog along beside me a bit so my dad could take this picture!

This is my official crossing-the-finish-line photo. Most of the people I know did not like theirs, but I like the way this one turned out.

If you've never run a marathon, it's hard to understand what it feels like. Hopefully this picture captures a little of the feeling.
